are there stories where a character time travels in the past and change something where their ancestor married someone different so in the present their race change

Not a story, but VIPcomics did this exact thing in their "vipcomics Issue 4" - https://vipcaptions.blogspot.com/2015/0 ... ics-4.html. If you are downloading the zip, it starts on page 401.

The guy goes back and forth a few times in the time machine and has a few different changes - one of them being his dad marrying an african-american woman instead of the mum in his original timeline. VIP aims more towards TG themes, not sure if this is what you are looking for, but was the first thing that popped into my head..

The Time Machine Betrayal over at DeviantArt wasn't really my 'thing' (not enough explanation about HOW it happens), but it had an interesting TF scene where the lead inventor becomes a Hispanic hooker.
