Changing mother changes daughter

I’m looking for as many different variations of this premise as possible. Basically changing the mother then changes the daughter making them a bimbo, or a drop out or anything along those lines. There’s a really good abimbolab comic about it called family roots that shows exactly what I’m looking for. If anyone can send some suggestions or other stories like that I’d appreciate it

Not exactly the same but if you liked he Coffeehouse Quintet Book 1 then you will probably enjoy book 3 and 3.5. Though its the mother changing the daughter which it turn changes the mother. So its a bit reversed from what you asked for but still both are good reads. 3.5 is more of a happy alt version of book 3.
