Clothing/Fashion Research

I'm a guy who doesn't know shit about the finer things in life, so if anyone can recommend a good starting place for researching basic fashion that would be more than great. Styles of clothes, current and past trends, whatever. So long as I know the difference between a blouse, a skirt, and a corset by the end of it.
