Woman becomes a goddess

I am looking for a story about a woman who cleans up her husband's attic and finds an heirloom or lamp or something that houses a genie. After two wishes she sets him free which he then returns her favor by making her wish super powerful. From there, her words allow her to make wishes / take the attributes (physical, etc.) of other individuals, ultimately turning her into an incredible goddess.
