An AI photo story of a new type- A Clone Too Far-Discussion-

Postby Adobeman10 » Fri Mar 08, 2024 8:11 pm

Im not sure if this has been done before or I am just the first of my kind. (Im guessing its been done before.)

But here is a photo story with dialogue and consistent character (under strenuous trial and error testing) From Panel to Panel. So that the character looks somewhat consistent.
This was a combination of 2d art, combined with story pacing, combined with model and character creation to have a new character and to be somewhat enjoyable read from this site's perspective.

I wanted to do something new and something challenging that combined my love of transformation stories along with a new technology and to do it as best as possible to create a consistent (the hardest part) story character.

This was 2d Character framing taken to one AI site- then to another, then to a third to get the best possible realistic photo of the story panel. In between each of these processes was photoshopping, touchups, retouches, scrapping pics that didnt look right, reframing and so on.

Then to pace it as a realistic and readable story. This is my Opus- I would love to have your perspective of it, what you would like to see, some ideas, some criticisms.

As this is a new tech, Im still figuring things out- but would like a good conversation about it and the possibilities.

For those of you who are long time readers- there are references to the greats HAL, Tcheser, Alec Leamus in there.

Anyway, lets discuss.

HERE IS THE LINK TO PAGE 1- there are currently 12 pages of story up with a lot more coming

I’ve messed around with AI illustrations for my stories that are on this site. It is incredibly time consuming and frustrating although some of the results are rewarding. I like the concept you are proposing and I just hope the process doesn’t destroy you. I’ve checked out the DA link and I can only see one picture, probably because I can’t log in, so I’ll check back when I reactivate my account there and see how you get on with it. Good luck

Hi Adobeman10 I’ve now read up to page 22. I’m very impressed with the degree of control that you have managed to get with each image. Preservation of appearance is one of the things I have unsuccessfully battled with. It must have taken a long time. I suspect that within a few years it will become much more straightforward for a fee to get this degree of control for 3D pictures as well.

Keep up the good work and I hope you get lots of positive feedback for it.

Thank You, It was months of trial and error until I got the right seeding and formatting done. And then with the 'unreal' proportions- it took some time to create models and lora based on that.

I hope its well received as I am doing a few like this.
I enjoy it and its fun for me- so I figure- why not right?

Hopefully the story is good too-
