"Jean!" Scott dashed out of his bed and onto his wife.

Emma just stared at the sight, a loving married couple.

She could read their minds, she saw their past.

Two lovers who left the X-Men shortly after the death of Xavier, moved to a farm in upstate New York and started a family.

It angered Emma, but Jean was clearly happy. And this Scott, he wasn't a bad husband.

"I don't know what's going on, but I'm so relived you're okay!" Scott smiled.

"If you two need anything... let me know." Emma scurried off.

"Thanks, Emma." Jean smiled.

"Why is Emma so young?" Scott asked his wife.

"We're not on the same reality."

Emma tried her best not to cry. But seeing those two, it hurt.

Yumi was watching a Japanese Drama on her laptop. It was almost like the show she use to watch at home, but some of the characters had different personalitys. Some of the actors weren't the same either! But Yumi enjoyed it, it felt comforting to watch the show again.

"Yumi?" Emma dragged in, her eyes red and swollen.

"Are you okay?"

Emma collapsed on Yumi's bed, incapable of even answering that calmly.

"This... This hurts so much!"

Yumi grabbed the girl and hugged her tightly.

"I feel... I hate this feeling! I want it to go away! I don't want to feel this!"

"Emma, we're going to fix Jean."

"There's nothing to fix! She's happy... with Scott." Emma quivered. "I have something to ask... was I happy?"

Yumi shrugged.

"On your world, give me an answer, was I fucking happy!"

Yumi shook her head.

Emma took a good look in Yumi's head. That bitch, vain and arrogant, disgusted her.

"If I become that... if you can't change back, kill me."

Six months later
Some one else changes
