In the Mirror - I wish I was happier

Parent Chapter

Sally was in highschool, what was supposed to be the "best years of her life," but she was miserable. She wasn't pretty enough to be popular, she wasn't smart enough to be a nerd. Sure, she had a couple friends, true, and a best-friend she was close to, but she still felt lonely.

Maybe it was because she was seventeen and had never so much as kissed a boy. She didn't think she was too ugly for anyone to notice her, just a little plain. Chin length honey-blonde hair was her best feature, set above green eyes and plain face. Maybe she was just "weird" or maybe her breasts were too small, she she had never really stood up to her older sister's.

Her sister. Ugh. There was a good chance that her sister was the source of her sadness. Her sister had everything she didn't: boys, popularity, friends and she took every possible chance to rub Sally's nose in how much better she was than her. She was a year older, and heading off to college, so she wouldn't even have to put up with stupid highschool dynamics soon.

Her reflection in the Mirror began to shimmer and twitch. It knew exactly how to fix Sally's problems.

  1. Sally's reflection ages, moving her into adulthood.
  2. Sally's reflection becomes her sister's, as their lives switch.
  3. Sally's reflection becomes more provocative, as memories of sexual encounters swirl in he head.
  4. Sally's reflection becomes dons a cheerleader's outfit as she becomes the most popular girl in school.
  5. Something Else
