Cursed Kate - A trip to the beach?

Kate didn't have anything planned for the day except a trip to the beach. For one of the most popular models/actresses around, it was out of the ordinary not to have anything going but Kate welcomed a break. She rose out of bed and started the painstaking process of getting herself ready. She was only going to the beach, but in case anyone recognized her she had to be looking as good as possible without having a professional do her makeup and hair. After an hour, Kate dressed in a blue bikini and slipped on a pair of cutoff shorts and a snug tank top. She put on a big pair of sunglasses to help hide her face from the paparazzi and from overzealous fans, and grabbed a piece of grapefruit for her breakfast. She went to her garage and got into her Porsche.

At the same time, Robert inspected the gem. The Ebay seller said it was enchanted, and was a revenge stone. The price was right and Robert bought it on a whim. It even came with instructions! Now, did the thing work? Or did he get taken over the internet again?
